If you want to visit Transylvania in a slow pace, a tourist train is set to travel at the end of August through Transylvania.
Visitors will be able to visit Brasov, Sighisoara, Sibiu and Fagaras. The train is called Transylvania train and it is reserved only for tourists. The tour starts in Brasov and stops for a few days in Medias and Sibiu.
The tour is meant to introduce tourists into the atmosphere of Transylvanian traditions and experiences. The tour has a flexible schedule and has plenty of activities, such as wine tasting, workshops, live demonstrations and picnics.
The train has a bar-bistro and the rest of the wagons have chairs and tables. There are 180 places available.
The tour is set as such-
Day 1– Leaving Brasov 9.30 a.m.
10. a.m. Travelling to Archita
12.30 Visiting Cloastef, Meserdorf, Viscri and Crit villages
1.30 Lunch at the Haferland tower
